The Christmas cheer has moved in and with it lots of sugar.

It tastes good, but give yourself and your body a little calm and support along the way. Sweets, cookies, apple slices, mulled wine - lots of quick / simple carbohydrates, and the body gets overworked. Replace occasionally with nuts, dried fruit or fresh fruit.

When we eat a lot of simple carbohydrates, your blood sugar rises quickly, then drops again quite quickly. It affects the body in a way that makes you feel the urge for even more sugar.
You get caught in the sugar spiral. More wants more. Quite a few people are addicted to sugar and it can be hard to get out of it.

Enjoy it all, but keep it balanced and take care of your body and your health so you can preserve,
